I always knew that this album was going to be different than the previous four indie albums. Not only was this going to be a bigger and more professional effort, the content of the songs were very different than before. This album was written in a season of my life where I had given up the dream of music, and the songs written were my hidden, and unspoken prayers. As the album process moved forward I felt compelled to share the stories behind the songs. The book is a compilation of the why behind the songs, the lyrics, and a 15 day devotional. My dear friend Tricia Baumhardt, from the band Superchic[k] wrote the foreword and I believe this book will be an amazing tool not only to compliment the album but as an encouragement to those who are walking through a trying season.
